My Top 5 Fave : Neutral Lipsticks

There are times when we feel like wearing bold lipsticks like reds, mauve or dark purples but sometimes we want to wear pinks or sometimes corals or peach. But there are times we just want a neutral shades that tones down our bold eye looks or just to compliment or complete our nude look or sometimes when we are in a hurry - neutral shades is best to match our makeup look. Of course, we have our own views or type of neutrals aaand here are my top fave neutral lipsticks.

MY TOP 5 FAVE : NEUTRAL LIPSTICKS

Neutral shades lipsticks plays a huge role in the makeup world just like the red shades. Neutral shades compliments every eye color looks or face. You can't go wrong when you apply neutral lipsticks if sometimes you don't know the color match, especially, when you try to wear bold eye looks & lips. It helps toned down your eye looks & overall look from head to toe. It also balances the shimmer or glitters that comes out from your blush, highlight or eye shadows. This also, it depends of course on the pigmentation of your natural lips, to give an oomph or MLBB (my lips but better) shade.

Rimmel Lasting Finish in Crush 

My first choice (permanent) is a shimmery peachy pick nude brown. It looks so orange-y on the tube but when you apply on the lips it turns like nude-y pink brown shade.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Blushed

Ah one of my favorite drugstore brand (permanent) is a pearly nude brown. This is for me is another of those MLBB kind of thing.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Demure

Another favorite shade from Revlon's Super Lustrous Line, this is my second tube actually, a pinky nude shade in a creme finish. I love love this shade another of MLBB thing. Lightweight but moisturizing on my lips. Definitely, will re-purchase this hahaha.

MAC Lipstick in Haute Altitude

This is according to MAC a mid-tone blue pink or simply light warm pink with blue undertone. In the picture it looks so much pink but because my lips is little bit pink so, when I applied this it tends to become warm nude pink. A great for everyday wear & it's perfect for your daily / everyday makeup look & perfect for every skin tone. Sad to say this is a limited edition. But I believe MAC Angel (permanent) is a little close but differ in finish. 

MAC Lipstick in Finally Free

A limited edition, a mid-tone rose-y nude shade in a cremesheen finish. I already did a swatch & review in this POST.

My Top 5 Fave : Flesh Toned Lipstick

Hi, everyone! We have different lipstick shades that we want to wear everyday, depending on our mood right? I, too, admit that. There are times when I want a simple nude shade or sometimes a bold shade or sometimes just barely there or even as fleshy toned one. Or what you call a more skin toned shade.

Here are My Top 5 Fave Flesh Toned Lipstick

Revlon Liptick in Nude Attitude - I can wear this on with just a few makeup on like a concealer, powder & a clear lipgloss on top. This has a matte finish.

Next, is another Revlon from their Colorburst Lip Butter in Creme Brulee  which is the same shade as the Nude Attitude but this time more moisturizing & it's like a tinted lip balm.

MAC Salute (from the Hey, Sailor! Collection - discontinued) this one is really a very tricky shade, when I first applied this on my lips my first reaction was "Ack! I look like a dead one" because of the light shade more lighter than my skin tone but after some testing I fell in love with it. 

The next one is MAC Pure Zen  (the packaging is from their Marilyn Monroe Collection but this shade includes in their permanent line). This is one more pinker than my yellow skin tone. It umps up my lips a bit whenever I don't feel like doing my makeup especially when my face is in a condition without blemishes or redness. 

The last one is also from MAC - Innocence, Beware!  (see how MAC fanatic I am hahaha) this is from their Venemous Villains Collection & again, it was re-promoted after a few collections later). This is my first tube & on the time it was re-released (see how I love it from the looks of it) I bought 2 (two) of this shade - one for me (a back up) & one for my youngest sister because she fell in love with the shade too.

My Top 5 Fave : Pink Lipsticks

Time for my Top Faves!!! As you all know, for those who have been following me have seen my previous posts but to those who are new; here are the links for my other Top Faves : Lipsticks.

In this post, I must admit I have to cheat a bit. Instead of the usual My Top 3 Fave, it will be My Top 5 Fave.

I just love pink shades or am I just a sucker for pinks or what!?!?!

I don't like pink shades before because for me wearing pinks usually is a type of a person that leans more on feminine. I am a little boyish to be honest but recently some of the brands that I like introduces pink shades that I begin to like & love as it suits my skin tone. 

One of my Top Fave Pink Lipsticks is from a drugstore brand : Maybelline. I love this brand. Maybelline Colorsensational in Pink Freeze is a light shimmery pink when I applied this on my lips it's more of a neutral pink with high shimmers. It's like applying pink lipgloss which I love, love, love!

NYC lipstick in Fragile Pink. Now, I discovered this from one of my favorite Beauty Guru in youtube "The Makeup Chair" She use this shade when she did a makeup tutorial and boy, the instant I saw this I fell in love. A very subtle light pink with a frosty finish. This shade is suitable for a day makeup to night makeup. This is one of the pink shade that's a perfect match to a smokey look. And I guess this suits for every skin tone. I love wearing wearing this lipstick whenever I try new smokey looks.

NYX Lip smacking Fun colors in Paris is Barbie pink shade. Another of those pinks that is good for daytime wear or night parties. This lipstick shade is also good for a light smokey look too!

MAC Venus is a cool toned subtle pink with a little shimmer. I also considered this as a neutral pink because when applied on my lips it's like MLBB (my lips but better) shade. Great also for daytime wear or night time.

MAC Girl Next Door is a sheer blue pink with a lustre finish that can be buildable to become more opaque. I usually use this whenever I wore a very minimal makeup but to amp up a bit of my look.

My Top 3 Fave : My Recent Fave Lipstick Shades

As I was de-cluttering my makeup stash one day I get to rediscovered some of the products I bought from previous releases. I was lucky to have these when I tried these on & lately been using these. 

In this post, I'll be showing you my 3 recent lipstick faves. So, here we go.

MAC Sail La Vie - A satin bright red orange shade that speaks so much of summer. I use this when I want a more bolder bright shade to wear. From the MAC Hey, Sailor Collection.

Mystical - A cremesheen rosy nude shade, I wore this when I want a subtle nude-y look. From MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection.

Yield to Love - A cremesheen rosy pink shade, this is more pinky in shade compared to Mystical. From MAC A Novel Romance Collection.

My Top 3 Fave : Coral & Orange Lipsticks

This is the follow up for summer faves. As you all know, summer is officially over & fall season has landed. Orange & coral shade usually speaks of summer season & here are my faves. 

From Revlon's super lustrous lipstick line - Siren - an orange creme finish shade. I love wearing this during those hot days. It suits my yellow skin tone & makes it my skin more fair in complexion rather than a yellow one. I love to wear this when I want to have a bold lip during summer time without looking too harsh nor strong look.

The top of the cap is transparent (in actual - not picture) for you to take a peek of the shades of the lipstick.

The next one is also from Revlon, from their colorburst lip butter. Juicy Papaya - a light coral shade. Best to those who wants to wear just a lipbalm but a tinge of color. This one is so moisturizing, perfect when my lips tends to peel. I've been also eyeing for this for a long time eversince Revlon introduced this shade & finally, I have one.

The cap is in the color same as the lipstick shade & (not picture) the top lid is transparent as well. 

See how much I love this lip butter by the looks of lipstick hahaha. 

And lastly, from Loreal's star collection - Barely Coral - a light coral-ly shade. I love this too! It's also moisturizing & smooth upon applying on my lips. It doesn't dry my lips & doesn't emphasize the lines. In the tube it looks matte but when it applied, a satin finish.

The shade in the tube & the swatch color on the package looks the same shade which is good because it helps you identify your lipstick immediately.
