Essence Brit-Tea Haul + Giveaway! - CLOSED

A few months ago, Essence introduced their latest trend edition. A British inspired, you know them they have this tea time.  I have bought some of their limited edition products that I love to try & keep on my treasure trove. All of the products in this collection have a "tea" word in their names how lovely!
Here are the products that I bought.

A Green Tea for Two - a lime green creme shade. Though in some light angle it is more of a lime yellow like in this photo.

Have A Beau-Tea-Full Day - a minty green creme shade that in some angle turns a more lighter green than minty.

Pink to Go - a  baby pink creme shade which I love the most in this collection  *gasp* this shade speaks of spring & summer nail shade polish.

Then there's Tea-riffic Garden Party  which is embossed in rose petals in light white cream, light pink to summer pink. A multi-use blush compact such a lovely thing to behold because of the roses - I love roses! When tapping lightly the cream white & the light pink you can use it as a highlighter. While the darker pink as a blush or when swirled altogether it also creates another shade of pink blush.

NOTD : Essence + MINI - Giveaway! - CLOSED!

A few months ago, Essence released their Brit-Tea collection which consists of pastel shades of nail polish, eye palette & blush with a matching duo-ended brush & rose earrings! I only bought a few from the collection & for the next few weeks, I will be posting them & doing a little review too with a surprise. I guess you've already guessed that out here hahaha!

This week it's time for my NOTD from one of the nail polishes that Essence released in their Brit-Tea collection.

Have A Beau-Tea-Full Day is a light minty green with small silver glitters! It's more of a blue undertone & it's a sheer shade & a little different shade from the bottle when applied on your nails but still the result is so pretty. You need at least 3 coats to be opaque & for you to see the minty pastel color of the nail polish!

The brush is okay but a little streaking on the nails probably because it's so sheer. It's a jelly like liquid polish so better apply a good base coat first & if you want the streaking to disappear apply a two coat of top coat too also, it helps the glitter to appear as well.

MAC x Caitlyn Jenner "Finally Free" Lipstick Swatches and Review

When MAC announced that they would collaborate with Caitlyn Jenner, I wasn't really surprise. I admire Caitlyn when she came out because of here fearlessness and showing what's she's inside. The name "Finally Free" is really a perfect name for the lipstick because it tells that finally she can tell and show the world who she really is.

Packaging : Comes in a bullet shaped lipstick size. Black casing same packaging from MAC's permanent line.

On their website they describe the shade as "Midtone Rosey Nude - Cremesheen" And they said :

     "Caitlyn Jenner has fearlessly shared her transition with the world. Her new MAC Lipstick, Finally Free champions All Ages, All Raced and All Sexes. 100% of the selling price goes to the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative, to further its work in support of transgender communities."

Final Thoughts : I love the shade of this lipstick. It's completely good to every skintone and it flatters your skin. A rosey, neutral shade that's good for an everyday wear and can really go with every style of makeup that you put on whether a neutral look or an evening look.

NOTD : A Little Cloudy Afternoon Nail Polish

Summer season and yet, that afternoon was a little cloudy. I've read one time that whatever the weather on that day it can affect our emotions. Admittedly or probably just a coincidental I feel so gloomy and lazy. I was rummaging on my nail polish collection thinking what would be the shade for the week. Then, I saw this and decided why not???

China Glaze Hook and Line is a creamy silvery gray shade. This is from the 2012 Spring Collection in line with the Hunger Games movie. 

I applied two coats to be opaque but a little streaky though, boy I love the shade!

A Bonus Post to My Top 3 Favorites from Wet n Wild : 8 Pans Palette

From the beginning of the time I posted my Top 3 Favorites from Wet n Wild I've told you that they have a wide range of products from foundations, blushes to eyeshadows, to lipsticks, lipglosses to mascaras. By the way, do check out my first posts of My Top 3 Favorites From Wet n Wild - Single Eyeshadow, Palettes : 6 Pans & 8 Pans and Trios. I admit, it's not just down to 3 favorites when it comes to palettes since they always releases new ones. So, without any further ado here are my other favorites from Wet n Wild 8 Pan Palettes.

The first one is SPARKLE 'TIL MORNING  which consists of neutral brown with a touch of sky blue and copper shades. I bought this off at ebay and I was happy that I decided to get this one because of how good the shadows are. When  Wet n Wild released this back in 2012 for their holiday edition. Right then and there I really want to grab it!

All of the shadows are in shimmer finish with not a single one is a matte one.

Next, GOING IN THE WILD  which consists of light pink, champagne, light green, light purple, brown and black shades. 

The shadows have pearl and shimmer finish.

Another one is NUDE AWAKENING which consists of more brown, copper, gray shades which is another cult following

The shadows have a mixture of pearl, shimmer and matte finish and this is what I love most from the three palettes. 

All have the shadows here are so pigmented. SPARKLE 'TIL MORNING  have the same packaging as their permanent line while   GOING IN THE WILD  and NUDE AWAKENING have the white packaging with flower designs on the top right and lower left corner of the lid which is pretty. They were released in Spring of 2013.
