Real Techniques Sam's Picks

Last night, I posted a blog about Real Techniques Nic's Picks and told you that I will be posting a blog about Sam's Picks tonight. Well, here it is.

Sam's Picks composed of 6 brushes - 5 of which is from the permanent line and 1 brush exclusive which is a limited edition. Same color of the handle as on the permanent not like Nic's Picks the handle were shining silver and 3 brushes were exclusive on the set.

The packaging is different, still placed in  a styro foam with real techniques written all over the red colored board.

At the back of the box are the closer shot of the brushes which are included in the set as well as their uses. The brushes are carefully chosen for this set fit for a full face and eyes makeup application except for applying lipstick on your lips. This tells for more of a personal use, great for traveling or for your makeup kit.

Here's the closer shot at the back of the box.

Now, let's get started at the brushes that included in the set.

The brushes are all synthetic which can be use on liquid or powder or cream products. Each brushes were labeled "Real Techniques" on one side and their corresponding name on the other side. The end tip of the handle is encased with rubber to prevent from slipping and a straight cylindrical shape.

The first one is the Multi-task Brush  great for applying powder, blush or bronzer.

Next, the Buffing Brush oh my gosh, I love this brush in applying liquid and buffing foundation for an airbrush effect . It's not too dense but so soft. How I wish this would be sold separately.

The Setting Brush ideal for applying highlighter on the tops of your cheekbones or applying setting powder on the area under your eyes or parts of your face which you don't want too much shimmer.

Next one is the Pointed Foundation Brush  is says in the box that to use with liquid foundation to build custom coverage. For me, it's too small for applying foundation but small enough to applying concealer or corrector under your eyes. The pointed bristles is a perfect shape that fits in the inner corners of your eyes and along the lower lashline for blending. Such a brilliant brush! Also, great for contouring your nose.

Another one is the Fine Liner Brush  oh boy, I was glad this was included in the set. Gives a precise application of eyeliners whether on your upper or lower lashline or even tightlining. You can also use this in applying concealer on small blemishes too!

See how fine and pointed that is.

And then there's the Essential Crease Brush  the only brush that is exclusive in the set - a limited edition.

A fluffy, tapered brush perfect for applying eyeshadow on the crease of your eyelids or blending or applying a transition color. Shoutout if you want this to be in the permanent line. I do! I do! Please Sam and Nic.

Do you have this set? What do you think? Care to share?

XOXO
