I know this is so much late and long overdue but well, I just had to post this. It's been a while since I've been using this around with this product and I must say that the first time I applied this on my cheek alone I knew this is one of my makeup collection that I really fell in love with it. You know, just by looking at it and swatched with right then and there you have the feeling of "I want to own this" grrrr... a little bit greedy hmmm??? The first time I saw this in actual was the time when I went to SM Mall of Asia where my sisters and I had agreed to meet there to watch the Close Up 3rd International Pyromusical Competition. But sad to say, I didn't purchase it because I was on a tight budget during that time :( When I saw Katie of KatieAB bought this and she gave a light review on this right then and there I want that one too! :D So, I went to Trinoma and sold out. Searched on multiply.com and saw one of my contacts still have this. I emailed and texted her a couple of times if she can reserve that for me. I admit, she gave slight a hard time on me because she was stick to having 2 days reservations. But with more perseverance by giving her PMs (personal messages) and texting her she gave in hehehe... Finally, when the package came. I was so relief. Happy that at least I own at least one item from the collection.
This was from the Daphne Guinness Collection from MAC (December 2011) which was a repromote from the previous collection - Spring Colour Forecast (2010 Spring Collection). Only two blush ombres or gradient blushes was repromoted - Azalea Blossom (which I own and going to give a late review *sorry about that my fault*) and Vintage Grape which I hadn't gotten it because it was so purple colored and purple on my skin tends to make me so pale since I'm so yellow skinned undertone.
Disclaimer : I paid this product and I am not affiliated with this company.
Product Name : Blush Ombre - Azalea Blossom
What it is : A light cool toned pink, shades of fading pink and purple. At the pan, you can see some shimmer but when you apply it on your cheeks it's so subtle and
Packaging/Quantity : 9g (same size as MAC beauty powders so your favorite blush brush can fit into the two colors)
Price : US $26.00
Where to buy : It's a Limited Edition sad to say at MAC but you can still hunt them down on ebay or amazon but with a higher price though.
Color/Shades : There are other colors that MAC released during the Daphne Guinness Collection - Vintage Grape but on the Colour Forecast - I love, love and wish deeply that they would repromote Ripe Peach. Love to own one. Calling MAC please hear my plea....
Result after I applied : It's a cool toned for my skin but this is so subtle that it's buildable too. I mixed this with my MAC msf in porcelain pink and my other peach matte MAC blushes :) Love to have that 3d kind of effect on my cheeks which really give a natural flushed cheeks on me.
Final Thoughts : It's a must have for your makeup collection. So, when you have a chance. Go grab yourself one. I wore my make up at 7:30 am and this last me for 8 hours! No need to re-apply. You might see some fading but still not to noticeable.
Would I repurchase it? Yes, definitely! If it only were a permanent line :D
Peppermint Crinkles' Approval : 5/5
