My Top Fave : Red Lipsticks

Hi, everyone! It's time for another My Top Fave & this time red lipsticks! There's a saying that every woman should have at least one or two red lipsticks & ever since makeups were introduced, red lipstick is always in trend in every celebrity icons. Legendary icons like Marilyn Monroe (whom I love & adore by the way), Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn - always rocks red lips. It never go out of style & it always speaks of glamour, elegance & feminity. It turns your looks from natural day time look to evening look. Though, I am not a fan & red lipsticks tends to look harsh on me. Somehow, I was able to pull through wearing it in different application. There are a lot of shades of reds - there's blue-based, reddish orange, red-pink, bloody red & probably a lot more. As of now I only have two red lipsticks in my treasure trove but I am eyeing to buy MAC's famous red lipstick - the Rubywoo which is on my wishlist.

These are the red lipsticks that really suits my skin tone & confident that I can wear this on evening events or special occasions. 

The first one is MAC Runaway Red (rich red-blue) from the MAC Shop MAC, Cook MAC collection although this is a repromote.

This lipstick is perfect for warm skin tone like me. It counteracts the yellow undertone. Though, it's a satin when applied on my lips it's more matte finish & reddish in shade.

Then there's Love Goddess (mid-tone pink red) is from the MAC x Marilyn Monroe Collection. 

You can see on the tube that it's a red but there's an undertone of pink. On my lips, it tends to lean on more red.
