When both high ends and drugstore brands created palettes, it was a huge success but none of any makeup brands done a palette which is completely all matte finishes as a lot of beauty enthusiasts wish for it. So, when Urban Decay (who started it all) did make a palette called Urban Basics. Other makeup brands did their own versions as well. One of them is ELF cosmetics. So, I've been eyeing this for a long while now and when I heard that they have a 50% percent off, I immediately contacted my local reseller to buy me one because I've heard so much great things about this palette.
When my package arrived, I was so excited like a child receiving her birthday present with a glee. I quickly took swatches and boy, I was really impressed by it's pigmentation! But down scroll down yet! Just bear with me a little longer. Haha.
The outer packaging has a black background with the picture of the shades of the palette and the name and the net weight.
At the back is the description and the ingredients.
The eyeshadows are consists of 10 shades and are encased in a black plastic case that's not magnetic which I am happy about it that's best for traveling and with the brand's name written in white and in the center.
At the back is the name of the palette.
Net Weight : 0.49 oz (14 g)
When you opened it, there's a mirror which is nice and lo, and behold 12 shades of matte eyeshadows from creamy white vanilla to the darkest black.
Usually in a palette, it's hard to find an opaque dark shades and here, they're not! Talk about a great pigmentation and take note, from a drugstore brand that's so affordable!
And here are the swatches!
Do you have ELF Mad for Matte palette? If you don't I highly recommend it that you buy it!
Thanks for dropping by.

Mary Ann
